Thanks for the rain thoughts! We are on water restrictions already....started last week but we can still hand water which is what we do for the garden anyway. I'm just hoping they'll get some rain up north where the wildfires are still burning.

Things have greened up here but if we don't get rain soon, it won't last. I think since the snow melted back in mid Feb, we are up to 1/4 inch measurable precipitation. My grass is already looking stressed.

Hi Everyone,

We have been having plenty of rain here in GA. In fact my tomato plants are getting kind of yellow. I will send some to you Brandyn. I am getting so excited seeing all my plants getting bigger. First garden except for tomatoes.

BET212- Sounds like we need to both trade some sun and rain! Dear weather, if we could balance things out a little, that would be great. Thanks!

I'm in San Antonio and we are just getting our first okra seedlings, tomatoes, cilantro, cucumbers, and oregano. The spinach from fall is about petered out but the swiss chard is still going strong. Only thing we really need is rain so if those of you lucky enough to have it could send some our way, we'd appreciate it emoticon

Here in Michigan along the lakeshore the peas in my garden are up and looking good. I also put in red and yellow onion sets yesterday. Today we are having a rainy day, good for my newly planted onion sets.

I get excited for green, too. I wish I could take off on nice days. Yesterday was a super nice day! Today it's raining again. We'll never get the rest of our garden in the ground. Our peas are shooting up nicely. Our onions are doing alright, and my granddaughter's 2 heads of cabbage are doing well. But it's been too rainy to get the rest of the stuff planted.

She woke up one morning and threw away all her excuses...

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday I left work early because it was nice out. Yep, I left work early because it was nice out. haha. I'm lucky I have a flexible boss. It's rained for 4 days straight before this and it's supposed to rain four days straight after this, so I grabbed the opportunity to go home and work on my yard. I weeded some, set up my raised bed garden kit AND FINALLY planted my very first things...some flowers around my porch.
This weekend I will be getting rid of the BAGS of leaves and branches I have to a company who makes organic mulch and tending to my indoor peppers and lavendar.

I can't wait to see those first shoots of green coming up through the ground!!!
