I'm still in high school, but my class schedule is HARD. I can't wait for the spring semester!
Here's my classes for the current semester:
Apologetics (religion class about defending the Catholic faith)
''Strive to be a virtuous person who does everything for the glory of God."
I'm having quite a bit of trouble this semester. :( It's quite a shock to go from a community college to a university.
Human Resource Management
Information Systems Management
Marriage and Family
I'm doing the best in my Marriage and Family class, and not too bad in my Social Problems class. I have a B- average right now, but I'm used to having a 4.0 so it feels terrible.
Take a chance and make it big, cause it's the last you'll ever get. If we don't take it, when will we make it? - The Phrase That Pays by The Academy Is... :)
Since we're mid semester I'm going to assume this meant fall ;)
My fall is going great. I have this stupid online Alcohol & College Life class that's hard to stand but other than that I get to work with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro, Motion and some other fun programs that are getting me ready for a future career in.. anything Advertising related! I can't wait.
I have no idea what I'm taking next semester. My fiance just transferred to my major so I want to try to take some classes with him even though I'm a few years ahead. Hopefully we'll be taking Public Relations Principles (lecture hall), maybe Online Advertising, News & PR. He's got to catch up!
Goal 1: 299 lbs on 12/5/11
I'm taking general college chemistry with a lab!!! Fun class, (I love chemistry and science) but apparently the teacher wants us to spend 15-18 hrs a week outside of class studying. O_O lol this seemed impossible until I saw a counselor and she suggested I drop my Math class (I guess there are two math related paths you can go on, and I was on the wrong one) so soon I get to also take physics :)
I had a PE body sculpting class....but I dropped it because it interfered with my Chem teacher's office hours. I think I'll be able to continue working out though at least 5 days a week, my schedule will just be a little funky. I like to workout in the morning but my class starts at 8am every monday and wednesday, soooo I'll be switching my days up a bit and running on tuesdays thursdays and saturdays.
Hope everybody does really well this semester and we all get A's!
It's nice to see someone else taking cultural anthropology! I think it's going to be my most interesting class so far.
Anyone got plans on how to stay healthy despite hectic college life? I know I'll be packing my lunches and snacks and will really be cutting back on cafeteria and vending machine spendings!
I start on September 6th, but since it's my first year, I have orientation on August 30th. I'm really excited to be finally starting college! I haven't registered for all the classes I'll be taking, but I do know I'm taking The First Amendment And The Internet.

I start on August 29. I'm taking a total of four classes:
Guidance of Young Children+ student teaching
Developmentally Appropriate Practices for Infants and Toddlers
Creative Arts for Children
Children's Literature, Language and Literary Development
I'm looking forward to the fall because it means I'm closer to my degree and it will be easier than the 6 classes I took over the summer!

I start on the 22nd of August as well (moving in the 19th, this Friday)! This semester will be an easy one, but because I have almost all lecture classes, there will be a lot of studying.
Here's what I'm taking:
Honors Cultural Anthropology
Introductory Biological Anthropology
Geology of National Parks
Spanish Intermediate Conversation
Because all of my classes are for my majors and minors, I am incredibly excited for this semester. I was able to take all of the classes that I wanted!
Fall semester starts on the 22nd of August for me and I am SO looking forward to it! I'm four general education classes that will go towards my major, namely:
- Introduction to philosophy
- Cultural Anthropology
- Western Civilization I
- Physical Geography + lab
and a beginning aerobics class that I wanted to take to help me stay on track! No matter how busy I get, I know I'll get at least 2h/week of aerobic activity, which is good!
How's everyone's next semester looking?
