I usually change my workout every 4. Right now I am doing Jamie Eason's 12 week program. It changes every few weeks.

Hi Tee! Just joined. :) Come on, girl--with all that work you and Brie do, just adding a little ooomph to it should be a great strength workout.

HI Laurie! I didn't realize you are on this team!
I lost all my motivation this week. Didn't even grab the shovel like I had planned.
Tomorrow is a new day. Tomorrow I will just dance and praise the Lord.

BACK SURGERY! I remember that you had some sort of surgery. I pray you heal well and quickly!

I love strength training, but recently had back surgery, so it will be a little while before I can get back into it.

My favorite ways to exercise--there are so many. I change it all up every month to keep my body from getting too used to what I am doing. I am working to lose weight, and build lean muscle. My favorite ways to build lean muscle are ballet and Pilates, but I also use weights, do cardio, and interval training--when I can get back to it. Visit to surgeon on the 17th, and hoping he will give me the ok to exercise.

I'm currently dabbling in HST training to build muscle...been on it for about 3 weeks and my muscles have grown. Trying to stack my legs because for me they are my trouble spots. I think I'm going to keep it for six weeks and then I'll be back to cutting fat. Not sure yet...we'll see how HST and body rocking goes...so far, I am leaning out nicely at the same time. I still weigh around the same, but I've moved down another clothing size. Something is happening.

My WT plan changes every three weeks. IF I start to get bored I change it sooner.

I am looking into some of the plans on bodybuilding.com. Haven't picked one yet.

You know what I want to do? I want to be able to climb a rope. Maybe in the back of my head, I'm still that kid playing Tarzan or Pirates. SHEESH. Maybe I should aim for ONE CHIN UP for starters!

I'm brand new to weight lifting. I've got some two pounders and five pounders just for strengthening my wrists. We are building our house and airplane hangars so I'll be doing lots of shoveling. That always provides core work out as well as upper body, and if you work it right, throw in some lunges. Create a rhythm and you've got cardio! The weather is just right, so we want to get as much done as possible. My companion is retired military so we are home all day. At 61 years old, she is in good shape, so she's my drill sargent. Right now we have to changes trailer hitches and make a trash run. (Water logged books are heavy, but I'm not doing reps with these!) HAVE A STRONG DAY!

I'm just getting back into strength training now. I'm bad about focusing on upper body (at least twice a week). I have to start incorporating core and lower body work. Haven't figured it out yet. Off for a run right now :).

I like to experiment with the "pyramid" method. For example: 10 lbs, 12 reps, 15 lbs 10 reps, 17 lbs 8 reps, 20 lbs 6 reps, back up to 15 lbs 12 reps, followed by 1 12 rep superset.
