I use nutrient timing to help with muscle development and to have a minimum of soreness. Also, I take Omegas, E and C to help with immunity break down that you can get from heavy lifting.
So I take: Whey protein isolate with creatine and glutamine directly after a work out, 2 hours later a whey protein isolate, the Omegas, E and C, multivitamin and coQ10.
Since I'm over 40 (okay, closer to 50), my nutritionist also says to take baths with magnesium (Epsom salt). She says all women over 40 should do that since we typically don't get enough magnesium and it helps the speed of your metabolism.
