I always try to do some of my workout around my son (and of course encourage him to play outside as much as possible) He loves when I put on a workout video and I give him 1/2 pound weights to use when I use mine. He's only 5 but I dont think it's a bad thing to get him into a habit like that! As long as he supervised I think it'd be fine!

So many kids don't really have the opportunity to get outside as much so I do think it is okay as long as the child is taught to use it properly and when you are around to monitor so it is not excessive use. I think it is great if the child wants to especially!!
Everything you want is right there, just outside your comfort zone.

I would monitor it closely as injury could easily occur were she to fall, etc. If she is using it because of weather, etc. then I think it would be fine. If the weather permits get her outside as much as possible. Kids will get a lot of exercise from running and playing -- even more if they have a friend to play with.
Trying to get back on track after the worst year that I can remember.
