I created a chart for my daughter that has the weekly suggested amounts for each type of vegetable for her age from choosemyplate.gov. There are check boxes for each serving - it gets her really excited to eat her veggies and to try to eat different veggies (besides her two favorites of sweet potatoes and green beans!)

That's great! I love it when my kids are on board with me! We've decided that instead of turning directv back on, which has been off for a year, that we're going to spend our money on a gym membership. We're all excited!

I was talking to my son this weekend telling him how important it is to eat the right things to grow healthy and strong and to help keep him healthy for sports. He plays baseball and will be doing cross country this summer. He got new running shoes and we will be running together to train which i am very excited about. Also we went to get some groceries and he asked for some sunflower seeds instead of a candy bar. I know they still have alot of salt but i am happy he is committed to this change.
