A Morning Exercise Routine Fit for the Whole Family
Have you thought about how great it would be to include your family in your pursuit to exercise more regularly? Family exercise will improve the health of your loved ones, make exercise more fun, and at the same time develop stronger connections between all of you. With a little creativity, you can find a way to make it work for everyone.
The morning can be a stressful time for any family. Between getting the kids off to school, lunch in hand, to all the last minute paperwork, planning and not to mention getting yourself ready too, it's hard to imagine fitting anything else in. What about starting a morning fitness ritual? Instead of rushing around with cartoons blaring in the background, plan and prep a few extra minutes the night before. Instead of letting the kids plop in the couch while they wait on breakfast, encourage the whole family to do some simple body weight exercises--pushups, jumping jacks, running in place, and a few easy stretches can start even the busiest family's morning off right. It'll get your energy flowing so that everyone will be more alert and focused for their school or work day.
