How about something like "getting yourself and the kids to eat something new or previously disliked?" I recently got my daughter to try avacados, which she refused to eat before, and she loved it! I was just happy that she tried it.

might be a bit tricky, but something that kids of all ages can do (toddler to older) together that they will enjoy.
