I do for myself:

SP (lol)...its true...It is a time to focus on what I need to do for myself

Jogging...I do it at night. My kids wake up early so I hate to have my husband have to try to deal with them...Especially this week, he is sick. So I do the workout videos on Youtube with Coach Nicole in our basement.

Going back to school. My first degree is in Sociology. I had wanted to get my Master's or an RN, but instead I went to work as a case worker for the county for the folks with disabilities. Then I worked at the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI). So when I had kids and the salary from OCALI could not cover daycare, we decided to have Courtney...so then I worked 2nd shift at a call center. When we could not refi our house, I cashed out my retirement to pay down the house and then took a 3rd shift job as an stna (nurse's assistant) in a nursing home. The local community college has an online RN program for folks with their BA's...so here I go!

Taking care of kids is a lot of work, time and energy....what are things you do to reward yourself?

Let's face it, our kids need to us relaxed and enjoying our time with them, not stressed out:-)
