I overheard a mom telling another mom that her daughter was at the appropriate weight for her height...Now keep in mind this child was under the age of four...I guess you can use the BMI for your kids...I struggle with this. I think it walking a fine line when you are doing it at home and it is not a concern of the pediatrician.
