This is a really good idea. I have a 12 yr old son who has Aspergers and is overweight and am having a really hard time getting him to eat healthy. I will ask him if he would be interested in this if you haven't started yet. If you have already, then Good luck. Please share your resullts. I'm really interested in hearing what they enjoyed fitness wise and how well they did.
I am looking for a few 11 to 15 year old boys who are overweight to do a fitness program with my computer loving son. He is 180 at 5'4 and wants to get in shape and we thought he could use this as a science project. He has one friend who wants to do this and we need a couple more to get the three samples plus a control. It would focus on setting up an easy firness test to be done before with some measurements a faceless picture befroe and after and what state they live in. I am a physical therapist so i can set them up on a program whether it is so much time on the Wii or Kinect or what ever else they enjoy doing. We do not want real names or any personal information and if the kids are interested in talking to each other it will be under their parents supervision and sparkmail. I do not want him to be obsessed witht he scale so other than a couple of weigh ins it would be more about fitness. We can share the results and measurments/pictures so any of the kids can use the information if they would like in their own research project. Feel free to email me if anyone is interested
