Glad to hear you are realizing you are not alone. Definitely an important thing to keep in mind!
As for exercising, I agree, do what you can, as you can. Whether it seems like a lot or a little, putting in the effort is always a LOT! As for the pool, I am assuming you have tried local rec clubs, the YMCA, and local gyms? A lot of places will give you discounts for limited access, if you don't want all the 'bells and whistles'.
