the only way to get rid of cellulite completely is liposuction because what causes it is when your elastin fibers break down it makes the fat go through the holes in it. and if u gain the weight back after lipo it will come back. there really isnt a way to restore elastin either. but to prevent it from getting worse is vitamin e
i have noticed my cellulite more since i have been working out, but this could be because i look at my legs more now. i saw the tyra show too. she raved about nivea, so i decided to try it. i have been using nivea gel and patches for about one and a half weeks. i have noticed a slight improvement. it isn't that expensive so its worth a try.
Theres actually a cellulite quiz you can take if you go to Quizzes under Healthy Lifestyle. I thought I knew enough about cellulite, but I took the quiz and only got 5 right out of 10! It turns out I didn't know the truth about it after all. Pretty much, 90% of women have it or are going to get it. These creams will diminish the appearance of cellulite, but that is just because they plump up your skin to make it appear smoother. That doesn't actually help the problem - it just hides it. And then you have to keep buying and using them or else the appearance of cellulite will return. So unless you have the money to spend on endermology treatments (which aren't cheap) the best thing you can do is eat right and exercise because cellulite is just body fat. Even after losing some weight it will still be there (and possibly appear worse) but keep at it and you can reduce the appearance of cellulite by burning fat. Don't give up!!!
hard to believe but at 54 i have no cellulite. i still do preventive steps as i like you do not want it...merle norman and mary kay both have excellent treaments for this and i highly recommend them. of course, there are other brands also and recently on tyra banks program she recommended neutrogenas as a great one!
Well, from what I have read in magazine articles and also from what I have seen, even really thin girls can have cellulite. 90% of women have some sort of cellulite, I am no exception. Alot has to do with genetics, if your mom had it more than likely you will too. The more muscle you build though the less noticible it will seem, just give your body time. There are some lotions and potions out there but even the ones that I have seen results from are just a temporary fix, once you stop using them you will see the cellulite come back, plus they are expensive and a college girl shouldn't be wasting her money on things like that. But take this to heart, we are always more critical of ourselves than others are. Your cellulite will always seem amplified to you, but I am betting no one else notices and if they do they probably have their own they are dealing with. Congrats on the weightloss by the way, Good luck in College!
so with all this working out, i've been feeling really good, but there's one problem: it seems like my cellulite has gotten worse!!! how have people been getting rid of it, what have you been doing, and are there any exercises that a girl can do to make a difference??
