Someone I know bought a whole bunch of these and decided that the L'Oreal Magic BB Cream--the one in the purple and white tube--was the best. It is also the cheapest of the bunch, so that is the one I have tried. Target seems to have the best price.

I hate the feeling of foundation on my face and I'm not very good at doing my own makeup, but I LOVE this stuff. It is light and not too sticky but it's just enough to even out my skin tone a bit. I put just a dusting of powder on top with a big brush. I get so many compliments when I wear this. It also seems to make my skin feel good after I take it off.

I've tried 2, one the Magic BB cream by l'oreal and, believe it or not, one that Palmers has just come out with. I actually like both of them, even though they are completely different in texture. The one from l'oreal is white and thin in consistency, the color changes to match your skin tone. It really does. Palmer's is much thinker, but still easy to blend and has sunscreen, the l'oreal BB doesn't, this is a real negative for me.

I've tried the one from Smashbox and one from a brand called Missha. I liked both of them (I liked the Missha one better.) They gave me more coverage than a tinted moisturizer, but slightly less than my foundation. (I use EL Double wear or MU Forever HD) Both of them looked really natural and gave my skin a "soft-focus" effect. Additionally, they seemed to last all day. I did still need to use my regular moisturizer underneath them. Also, I know some of them claim to have anti-aging properties, anti-oxidants, etc. I can't really comment on those aspects. (I think most of that is a load of hogwash, but I know it's important to some.)

Overall, I really liked my Missha BB Cream and it's something I wear regularly. For the most part, the 2 BB Creams I tried live up to the hype.

Which one and what do you think? Does it do everything that the articles claim?
