My positive for today was taking off from work this afternoon and splitting the usual 8 hours into 2 days! This morning and tomorrow morning! Plus, I can take advantage of the afternoon on both days to love and enjoy!
Mine is, even though I have to go into work this morning again -- accomplish and achieve -- and those are such positives to me, as I dislike feeling like I'm behind on alot of things in my life and, once I can see the results of my work, it's such a great feeling for me!
My "positive" goal for today is ... to stay positive in my thoughts as well as attitude! This is something I strive to do every day, but sometimes need a reminder. If things aren't going positive, I will put my worries in God's hands, and know that all will be as it is meant to be. HAVE A WONDERFUL AND POSITIVE DAY ALL!!!
Today's positive goal is to keep plugging away at work this morning, return a call to the Clinic and find out what or who they want to refer me to for something they saw on my back x-ray -- but positive it'll be! Accomplish, prevent, resolve!
My positive goals for today are to stay in control of my eating and work towards losing another pound. I slipped backwards yesterday, due to emotional eating, and am ashamed of that, so am back on track today, stronger than before, cause I know that I am the one in charge of making my dreams a reality! And I also am going to accomplish some much-needed work around the house. I still have boxes to sort through from when I moved here 6 months ago! Yes, you guessed it, I am a procrastinator! I would like to say that I am going to get some exercise today, however, I am quite limited as to what I can do right now. Besides having arthritis in my hip/lower back area, I now have a problem with my knee that might require surgery in the future. So of course I am babying that knee right now, and being careful as to how I use it. I still will get some kind of exercise in today, however. I AM DETERMINED! Kathy
IIAMMOON, Thank you for adding this thread! Great idea!! My happening for today, (at least the biggest one) is to go to the eye Dr's and have a very long overdue checkup and new glasses. This is something I have put off for too long. So, I am doing something for myself that is very important! As for the rest of the day, I will just let it happen as it should, and not stress over anything!
I too am doing something. I am letting things be today. I have a challenge that I've done all I could and could not resolve it, so I am letting it be and not stress. I will be just fine at the end of the day!
Addendum: My "happening" happened...

A large one for me..........driving to work in this snowstorm we're having today! I freak driving in snow and ice, but I'm ready to take it slow again and know that I can do it! Staying positive all the way!
So what will you do today to create a happening for yourself? Large or small;petite or grande? And if you did not or cared not please also share if you wish...
Activity, thinking, eating, doing good for others, doing good for oneself, creating a new jon, career, passion , thinking or getting an application to go back to school, new hairdo, updating wardrobe, trying something new you always wanted to do, stopping something (at least for today) you want to stop but never really tried to before, etc.
The happening could be something small or large that you may do to shift your world. It could be as simple as trying a shade of lipstick you never thought you would to, investing into going to college simply by ordering a college catlog to revamping your hair or correcting a habit (just for today) or getting your groove on with a manicure.
Like today I made a happening happen. I had a challenge that appeared to be insurmountable. I mean it would have grossly affected my living condition. I had exhausted everything, so I let it be.
Low & behold 3 hours later, it righted itself in a big way! There was also a sidebar ripple, unexpected, that got resolved because of the happening.
I may blog about it later today but I hope that serves as an example!
