Thank you for the warm wishes, back at ya!!! And to all of you guys too! :-)

Those are wise words, but easier said than done.
One of the main reasons I love spark people so they not only share this sentiment, but go a bit farther in explaining how one complies with the directive.

1. Be in tune with your self, your choices, your feelings, and what you say to yourself. Over write the negative with small smarter choice substitutions.
2. Set small goals with tiny steps, daily, weekly, monthly and Celebrate and track your success and achievments. Really feel the pride and get into it, so that each step is more motivation to step ahead.
3. In the face of failure or something you may want to improve upon, gradual is long lasting and more easily accomplished. Dont strive for a complete change or total turn around, but tweak what you have now with a small smarter choice substitution.
4. Dont be afraid to ACT. The only way to take back our power and the control of our lives is by taking action, right wrong good or bad doesnt matter as much as simply making the attempt because life only gets better when we continue to try try again.

Failure- a stone on a path not the last one called success.
Planless gaol=a wish
Faithless dream=fleeting & amiss.
Progress-little to do with speed-much to do with direction.
Wiser to replace with better choices than to deny human nature-small smarter choice substitutions.
Purposely choose your thoughts-what you believe-you achieve-Be careful what you think

In a few more hours it'll be a New Year, and I want to take this opportunity to wish you all that you wish for yourselves. Remember that every day is a do over, that you can start a new year every day of your lives, and always keep on moving in the direction of your dreams.

Warm hugs to each and every one of you!

Never Sell Yourself Short
by Gary Vurnum

We all have faults. But we also all have unique talents.

We spend too much time focusing on those faults instead of working on improving (and benefiting from) those talents.

Everyone we ever meet is viewed as better than us. Everyone has something that we wish we had. What a waste of time and energy!

Those people who you think have everything are probably looking at you and wishing they had something you've got. Don't believe me? Well you'd better start otherwise you are going to move yourself further and further away from the sort of person you would like to become.

Action Point:

How is what you think of yourself holding you back?

Never, ever, sell yourself short. You have as much natural talent as any successful person you could possibly name. The trouble is that you just don't realize it.

Instead of looking outwards - look at improving how you view yourself. Whatever your circumstances are you still have the power and the intelligence to make more of yourself.

You cannot get what you’ve never had unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.

Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
