Yes the winds change so we breathe new air, but we are still on the planet earth breathing the same atmosphere. If you want to change that and travel the stars...that is not going to happen unless you ACT upon this desire and take the appropriete steps.
We DO have the ability to make life happen on purpose in the way that we want it to, we are not meerly at the mercy of everything else around us powerless without any control. Yes change is inevitalbe, but that doesnt exclude the existance of spiritual stagnation.

Failure- a stone on a path not the last one called success.
Planless gaol=a wish
Faithless dream=fleeting & amiss.
Progress-little to do with speed-much to do with direction.
Wiser to replace with better choices than to deny human nature-small smarter choice substitutions.
Purposely choose your thoughts-what you believe-you achieve-Be careful what you think

Every day is different. I don't beleive we ever do anything exactly the same. There always will be just a little difference it might not be much but it never will be the same. I have observed this with our pottery. We try so hard to keep it uniformed and the same shape. If I looked at one today and then looked at another a month ago. Even if I did exactly the same procedure those two cups would not exactly be the same. Even using measuring tools. It is impossible to do any thing exactly the same over and over. Every moment is a new moment. Even if you recited a poem and thought you did it exactly the same when you repeat it. It would not be there would be a slightly different sound somewhere. We are ever changing. Even our bodies are different every day. We don't even have to worry about the changes they just happen. Don't you just love life. Seeya.

This speaks to me. I had done the same ole things with the same old people watching the same ole movies and types of shows for over ten years. I got FAT, unhealthy and stagnated in my growth.
In the last 3 years, I think I have grown more than in any other decade of my life.
Where I want to go and who I want to be is up to me to make the choices that will bring about change. To provide the kindeling to forge my own iron.

The definition of insanity is to repeatedly take the same action and expect a different result.

Learning does come in many forms. I read non fiction and have listened to motivational tapes. My greatest form of learning is with interacting with others. Listening to what people have to say. Really gives your brain a great workout especially if your hearing something for the first time. Then you have to research to see if it is valid for you. I am getting fanastic life lessons at the moment. I have just learn't that our lifes cannot be controlled. We may think we can have control over it but I have found out that we are either here for a purpose, or for karma. To give lessons or to receive lessons. Sometimes both. That may not seem like a huge learning. I have known that before but I seem to have had another layer revealed to me which has made me feel extremely refreshed for some reason. I love learning and fine tuning. Just getting it, which I most likely won't until the end.

Work On Enhancing Your Skills
by Gary Vurnum
==============================

Do you remember how you felt when you walked out of school or college for the last time?

No more learning, and revising for exams EVER again!

BIG mistake!

The great Charlie "Tremendous" Jones summed it up very well when he said

"You are the same today as you'll be in five years, except for two things: the people you meet, and the books you read."

So…if you stop meeting people, and stop learning, your life will be in the same condition in five yearstime as it is today.

Are you happy with that?

If you are - congratulations! If you're not then you'd better start looking at how you can improve your skills by a focused plan of learning.

In most cases, this shouldn't be that difficult - just take more of an interest in your work, or read a relevant non-fiction book instead of a fiction one, or even just listen to a self improvement cassette in your walkman instead of music.

If you want to stay where you are then just carry on what you're doing now.

Action Point:

How can you make more learning part of your regular routine?

Perhaps you could try make every second book that you read a non-fiction book instead of a novel…or perhaps listen to a personal development tape in the car instead of listening to the radio?

The more you make it part of your daily routine…the more you will find it easier to carry on doing!

===============

You cannot get what you’ve never had unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.

Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
