hmmmmm I have always considered myself a perpetual student....but I cant say that Ive been much on applying anything. LOL I was always terrible at world problems, learned the formulas...but could never retain the lesson from a serious lack of practice.
To learn and then apply it, thats the trick!
Failure- a stone on a path not the last one called success.
Planless gaol=a wish
Faithless dream=fleeting & amiss.
Progress-little to do with speed-much to do with direction.
Wiser to replace with better choices than to deny human nature-small smarter choice substitutions.
Purposely choose your thoughts-what you believe-you achieve-Be careful what you think
my favoite quote has to be:" IF IT IS TO BE,IT STARTS WITH ME" This applies more now than ever.
I know that all I have or will have comes By way of the Lord Jesus!
Become A Perpetual Student
by Gary Vurnum
Have you ever watched a six year old playing?
The other day my daughter wanted her Barbie to have a train to sit in…so she found a cardboard box, some plastic, some string and some paint…and thirty minutes later Barbie was sitting in her brand new pink train, rolling down a track made of string!
Why did my daughter want Barbie to have a train? Because she was learning about them from books at school and wanted to make one for herself.
You can certainly say that she applied the information she had learned!
Can you say that you apply anything you read, watch, or listen to?
It can be difficult to make the change from learning to doing…but it is certainly a very rewarding experience once you begin to make things happen in your life because of it.
Make sure that you actually apply something next time that you learn anything…any effort it takes you will be more than rewarded!
You cannot get what you’ve never had unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
