Kathylm51. Got the reply. You are so right about treating your customers in a manner that they feel your kindness and lovingness. I am a great believer that what you put out is what you will receive. Thanks for your read.
Love your positive proactive attitude Anita. I work at at a job where we serve the public and I find when I approach each customer in a manner such as "how can I give to this person or brighten their day or lighten their load" everyone wins. Also when your attitude is right like yours is we give and become fulfilled. Keep it up and keep sharing it brings out the best in all of us.
You know Anita, I can relate to what you wrote as I live a busy life its kind of different as I don't have a boss I am my own and have been most of my life. I guess that was to find out that you are your own critique. No matter who you work for or what work you do the only person you will satisfy ultimately is yourself. Whether someone else appreciates what you do,does it really matter. Will you truly ever know. Thats why it is important to be happy with what ever you are doing as you will ultimately be the one who feels the reward or not. So make your happiest choices because in the long run you will be much better off. We always have a choice. To be happy or not to be. I choose happiness. No matter what. Have a happy day.
One of the reasons why I'm not around as much as I used to is because I'm really 'Making my life Happen on Purpose.'
I am creating a social life that keeps me busy every day if I found the time, I have a job I like but since it's not the job of my dreams I go to work with joy and then prepare to move into the field of my dreams.
For that I prepare by taking courses, reading books and talking to experts, I keep a blog that I'm proud of, read, workout when I'm not too lazy or tired, I take care of a puppy and walk her at the park at least twice daily, I help my kids and visit my father every week and I help total strangers when I can. And you want to know something, I still feel like I'm too lazy sometimes.
I just find that when you're motivated enough you can do a lot and not notice it.
Work Harder Than You Think You Should By Gary Vurnum ===================== Can you honestly, in your heart-of-hearts, say that you deserve a pay rise every year?
It probably wouldn't surprise you to find that most people would say 'yes'…but if you were to ask their bosses they almost certainly would say 'no'.
Well…in the workplace at least…we always tend to overestimate our contribution. I know…I used to. I spent about five years thinking that I was indispensable…until I had to suddenly take a couple of months off…and found out that I wasn't.
You KNOW if you are getting in a little late…or taking a long lunch break…or surfing the Internet instead of working. We all do it. But…it's how much you do it that has an impact on your future.
Laziness is a habit that is contagious. The more you do it…the easier it is to do it even more.
In what little ways might you be letting yourself down?
Sure…you won't get any thanks for working your best or for turning up that little bit earlier, but in the minds of those in charge…you will set yourself apart from everyone else who doesn't do exactly that!
Plus…it gets you into the habit of working at your best…which is an amazingly useful habit to have if you want to make more of yourself!
You cannot get what you’ve never had unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
