Yesterday when I got to the office I saw one of the Agents huffing and puffing, he was pacing back and forth, and being the eternal optimist that I am I decided to ask him what was wrong. He's one of those complainers and I knew to expect a complaint coming from him. "I'm very worried about the economy" he said to me in an angry tone.
I tried to tell him that worry wasn't going to change the economy, that he should just focus on doing the best he could do, and on being grateful for what he has, to which he replied "I want to worry, and you sound like my mother". I wonder if that was a good thing
All I know is that worrying about something, anything, doesn't help one bit, so I chose not to worry!
Don't Let Things Get To You
by Gary Vurnum
Are you a worrier? Do you wonder how you are going to survive to the next paycheck…or what other people think of you?
If you are…STOP IT NOW!
If you have the weight of the world on your shoulders you are not going to be able to move quickly enough to improve your life when the right opportunities (that's right - it's plural!) come along.
What would you rather be sailing on when you suddenly see a huge ocean liner coming towards you…another liner thatwon't be able to get out of the way quickly enough…or a nimble speedboat that you can easily manoeuvre out of the way at the first sight of danger?
Never…ever…play the 'what if' game. If you do you will almost certainly guess the wrong answer…and give yourself a lot of stress in the process.
What are you needlessly worrying about?
Remember…most of the time whatever you are worrying about will probably never happen!
Just be confident that, as long as you do your best in everything you do…you will be fine…I promise!
You cannot get what you’ve never had unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin. www.youneedanita.blogspot.com/
