I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful summer evening, and whatever it is that you're doing, be sure and do it with Passion!
Live Your Life with Passion!
by John Seeley M.A.
What are you passionate about? Is it a sports team? Is it a music group? Where in your life do you show your passion?
Passion comes out for different people at times when they are very alive. I've seen people showing passion for hobbies, or a sport, and the rest of their life is lived practically asleep. We often take our lives for granted.
Randy Pausch, author of the book The Last Lecture, defined passion. Even though he died last month, he still inspires millions through his book and the Youtube video of his "last lecture." He was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and yet lived every day of his life with passion. He was determined to truly embrace all of the life he had left, and he did.
None of us know how much time we have left, so why do we let the most precious commodity go by and not live it with true passion? He had life dreams that he fulfilled because he had passion. He created his life from a place of passion.
He said, "Experience is what you get, when you don't get what you wanted." If you have a positive attitude like this, you can move forward past your fears to create your dreams. He said, "The brick walls you run into, are there to stop the other people, not you."
Living with passion takes courage. When you are living with passion, you are living authentically. If you find that you are not passionate about your life, change it!
As soon as you read that, what came up for you? Write it down. Did you say, "I don't have the time? I can't. I wouldn't know what I would do! I don't have the money." Turn that all around and ask, "What would I do if I could do anything?" Think about that. Write about it. Notice the thoughts and feelings coming up.
What just came up for you? Notice that feeling. Where is that coming from? What in your past is coming up? We get offered things to heal for the last time daily. Decide to notice things as they arise, then take steps to release those old beliefs that no longer serve you.
You cannot get what you’ve never had unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin. www.youneedanita.blogspot.com/
