What a great article, thank you so much for posting it. The funny thing is, I feel like I keep learning this lesson in various forms over the past few days/week. I was stuck in a health/weight loss/fitness slump for a few months and finally got back on track when I realized the importance of deciding what you want and making choices now that help move you in that direction. I was first shown this lesson from a monk in the Living Luminaries film, and I keep learning it over and over from life, friends, postings,'s amazing. I definitely feel more focused on what I want and I am really enjoying the power that comes from making choices in line with your heart's desires.

Thank you for sharing this!

I am going to a mansion in the sky. My trip will have a lot of turns, but I will end up in the mansion.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Here is another one of Gary's articles, that I found to be very simple yet insightful. I like the way he writes; got to get on a plane and meet him sometime :)

Have a very productive week!

Planes, the Journey and Your Destination
by Gary Vurnum

I once read somewhere that an aeroplane flies on the basis of 'error correction'.

Basically...what this means is that, although the autopilot knows the EXACT destination, it is constantly having to make sure that it stays on course because it is constantly being pushed in all directions by the wind.

Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong...but nevertheless, when I heard this, it struck me that this could be an excellent way to live YOUR life.

The trouble with this concept is that, for most people, it has two major problems...

1) They don't have a final 'destination' to aim for.
2) They look upon being pushed 'off course' as final...and ulitmately turn back the way that they came.

Are YOU like that?

Perhaps you are...and, believe me, there's nothing be ashamed about if you are.

The crucial thing now you want to CONTINUE to be like that?

Personally...I DO have a 'destination' in mind...although, the more I think about it...the more I know that I should continue to add more detail to it so that I KNOW 100% where I want to end up.

And...I am a lot more 'philosophical' about things not necessarily going according to I know that, as long I continue working hard at what I love...then things WILL eventually 'fall into place'.

But...this realization didn't happen overnight, I can assure you.

The very first important step is that you fix your destination (for the it will undoubtedly change as you progress, that's for sure!).

So...where are YOU going?

You cannot get what you’ve never had unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.

Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
