Obviously the author isn't a SparkPerson. One of our strategies for sneaking in extra exercise IS to walk around the block just to visit the person next door.
However, his point is well taken, even if he might be a couch potato: too many blogs, too many messages, to many things to do at the computer, takes us away from living in the real world. My email box is filled every day with wonderful things to read, but I don't have time to read or clear them all. I eliminate junk, but so much has to be ignored to carry on the important business of living.
Thank you Anita.
PS I always enjoy your contributions long or short!

Good evening everyone, I hope you've all been well.
Summer is a fun and busy time and I'm not around as often, I also have been making many changes in my life as I don't want to preach without putting my words into action, and I'm always amazed at the great results you get when you start doing all those things you've been putting off for ages, so I encourage you to take small steps but never stop walking in the direction of your dreams.
Have a fabulous rest of your weekend.
Hugs xoxo Anita
Never Use A Paragraph When A Sentence Will Do by Gary 'Vurnum
I can hold my hands up and admit that I struggle to keep to this!
Time is the most important commodity in your life.
You wouldn't purposely walk around the block just to go next door so make sure that you don't try to do the same when you are communicating with other people.
Whether you like it or not everyone prefers the sound of their own voice instead of yours. Don't speak in single syllables but just make sure that you GET TO THE POINT!
In what ways can you be more economical with your communication?
We are bombarded with more messages than ever before and people are becoming more and more aware that they should filter out the non-essential ones in whatever form they are.
Make sure that are concise, precise, and accurate and you will stand much more chance of being heard (or read).
You cannot get what you’ve never had unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
