We only live once, but once is enough if we do it right!!!
put it into perspective ...it is 1 week out of 52 ...its what you do in the other 51 weeks that count...so enjoy it to the fullest

ticker weight in pounds
I have been back from my cruise for 2 and a half weeks and have still not lost the three pounds I gained on the cruise. I used the gym; we took the stairs more than the elevators and were pretty active when we were on shore! Stay away from the sugar! I thought just one cookie won't hurt, but I could not eat just one cookie.
They do have great meals in the dinning room and the sizes are normal, not super sized. I even asked for a bowl of strawberries for desert and had no problem getting them even though they were not on the menu. If you are going to splurge, get something you can wear, say duty free diamonds, not sweets on your hips! Have a great time!
Decrease Body Fat percentage. I will do this by eating clean and cardio cardio cardio, I must not forget strength training, my goal is to strength train 4 days a week!
Oh my I know what you mean!!! I have been on 2 cruises over the last 2 years and it is hard! BUT...you can make healthy choices if you have in your mind before hand that this will be your plan of action!
Stay away from the buffets and try and go to the seated dinners at night - this way there are a few dishes to choose from not a whole line of food at the buffet!
We were on Princess and Celebrity and both were similar in their setup in terms of dinners and so on. Also they do have a healthy menu in room service and the dinning halls.
Have fun and don't forget to splurge a little!! :)

will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
I would say eat what you want - that's part of the cruise experience! But I would also exercise - when I went on a cruise there was a running track on the top deck and it was a GREAT feeling seeing the ocean completely surrounding you and walking/running on that spongy track. I don't think you have to worry about not getting back with the program when you get back. I know by the end of the cruise I was sick of the rich food and ready to get back to normal healthy food.
They have excellent fitness programs on those cruise ships. Lots of aerobic type classes, weight machines, even programs to walk around the entire deck of the cruise ship. some even have rock climbing and other sports related stuff.
You may eat a little more but just offset it with movement and you'll be fine. Joe and I did that one cruise we went on and I broke even. The ones where I ate and didn't exercise, I went home heavier! lol
Changes are best made when we are aware of the need, recognize the process necessary, and focus on one-step-at-a-time.
Energy goes where attention flows.
When the right choices are your lifestyle they become second nature. Some people can have just one bite of "x" and some people can't, so do what's best for you, but definitely have fun!!! I can't wait to hear all about it.

JoJo have a great trip.
JoJo - I travel a few times a year with work, and understand!!! Just imagine much time on the treadmill, or whatever you do to burn off whatever is tempting you. Maybe that will help...
The other idea is to always have a bottle of water in your hand. If one hand is full (and not alcohol - thats empty calories!!!!) then you may be less inclined to indulge.
Also, I know its not "fun" but most ships have a fitness center. GO THERE FIRST, then you will carry a feeling of accomplishment throughout the day!
Enjoy the cruise, and allow yourself to indulge a little....

If we weren't all crazy, we would go insane!
I am very excited about going on a 7 day cruise in a few weeks, but at the same time very nervous. You know how much food is on a cruise? I am trying to tell myself, enjoy yourself , but in moderation. It'll be my first real test since joining SPARK. I fear that once I get back , will I have motivation to get right back in this!? THOUGHTS?
