Try to walk with the walker if that is what he thinks is best. Just be careful and do what you need to lessen the pain! I barely cracked a rib one time and the pain was fierce! So, that could be what you are dealing with. I do try to keep the happy thoughts. I know working will help distract me, but I just can't seem to make that first step toward my job! I did 1 thing today and will put full effort toward it tomorrow when I don't have any distractions. I really have no choice!

I started taking the MSM twice a day. The Ibuprofen does not seem to help the pain any except maybe to lessen the inflammation. I have tried it now two nights. I took a prescription Ibuprofen, too. Looks like I need to get a walker and a porta-potty for awhile. The pain is too great to get up with in the middle of the night and to get around the corner to the bathroom. Dr. Morgan said the pain could be a cracked rib(s) and torn cartilage. He also said that the pain could be stemming from the breast issue. The only way I can tell is to get an MRI which means I will have to see my other doctor for the prescriptions for the walker and the porta-potty. A friend loaned a walker today and I can walk better. Dr. Morgan also said it would be good for me to walk as much as I can, but not on a treadmill - yet. I bought a different back brace today, too and I think it is working better than the ones I have. I didn't do muchj walking in Walmart - could not stand it. My friend bought the things for me that I needed today and my daughter, I think, is going to do more shopping for me, hopefully tonight.

Sorry you are still having problems with your mother's and your friend's death. It may take awhile to get through it. Keep happy thoughts about the im your mind and during the day and maybe over time the hurt will lessen, but keep your chin up and getting back into your lessons might be the best thing for you.

Anna-- I have no doubt you will pass the test! Your faith is awesome! I pray for a miracle to end your pain and save your eyesight as well! Have you started the MSM yet? Are there any other natural pain relievers? Rest and keep that faith!

Linda-- Thank you. I know time will help me heal, but I've been so sad the past few days. I need to get more rest. I need to do my job! I've been ignoring it and classes start back on Monday! I"ll be in real trouble if I don't get my rear in gear!

Anna, I am so sorry that you are going through so much pain right now. But God never gives us more than we can handle, so I am sure you will pass the test with flying colours.

I would actually like to receive a great big giant miracle from God that would inlude in eyesight, my tailbone, and my back problems. I am still looking for one of those miracles and will be for the re st of my life or until it actually happens. I think my faith is really being tried right now with all the pain that I am going through. I just hope I pass the test.

That is a real tough one. A lot of things I wanted to do when I was much younger --- I have lost all desire to do so now......

So many things I have thought of in the past few years, well I can't afford because it costs money and I can't keep up with what I need now much less save for things not on the urgent list.

Like you, I would like to loose weight, so maybe my hip wouldn't hurt so much and I could walk easier, hopefully without a cane. I have to really plan my days and work hard at this during this year. I may think of more later, but that's all I can pluck from the old brain today.

I hope you are doing ok, Melissa, and that you will start to feel better soon......
Best of wishes to you.....

Linda

I'm not sure if we have 1 question for today or 2! I hope all of you understand that my mind is just still not working on full capacity since my mom died. A friend just died too and so I am just a puddle of sadness right now!

What is one thing you would like to do "one day"?

I'd like to finally lose this weight. I'd love a pancreas transplant and maybe a mediterranean cruise!
