I journalize things that I eat as well as things happening. I make update logs for the doctor and use the notebook to keep tract of what I eat and and what is happening to me - pain I am feeling or if pain is hard to handle, etc.
It is also a way to keep tract of my BG, BP, Wt, etc.

Do you keep a journal or diary? For what purpose?
I do journal occasionally to express feelings and to avoid depression. I journal things I can't talk about to others. I also blog fairly regularly here on SP to help me with my weight loss journey.
