Yup, it's me, still a couple of months late, (and more than a dollar short, lol)

On the subject of cell phones.....

I absolutely refused to get one for years, but then eventually capitulated. As a single person starting to get complications and develope more and more health conditions, I thought I should get one just to have in the case of emergencies. I had pay as you go so thought I would never have to worry about not using up all my minutes, but found out that even they expire...

I always thought that if I was not home, and the caller really wanted to talk to me, they could either leave a message of call back. I used to hate sitting on the bus and having no choice but listen to some else talking on thier phones and they never modulated thier tones..... The stupidest one of all was when a woman phoned someone to say she was on the bus and would be at her place within 5 minutes...... 5 minutes ! ! ! ! Now couldn't that have waited until she actually got there?????

I now have a different phone, and my minutes are good for a year, but if I add more time before that year is up, it does not expire. That helps .... because I still only use it for emergencies....

Oh, I agree!! I have a cell phone and use it as my business phone, but still only use about 150 minutes a month if that.

I tend to agree about the cell phones and all the other gadgets they can get to keep up with the Jones'. They pay too much attention to what or who is on the cell hone and don't wait until they get to a safe place to stop and talk. I have a cell phone but it is never on unless I need to use it and that is only is an emergency. I have a thousand minutes every month but I don't think I have ever used more than 50 minutes in any one month.

People do ten to think only of themselves instead of trying to help other around them if they need it.They would be a lot happier if they would see to others needs, too.

In your opinion what are people too obsessed with?

I think people are too obsessed with their cell phones and smart phones for 1.... Everyone wants to have the latest and greatest and often miss out on real life human contact by using their technology too much. I think people are also too obsessed with what others think and/or say about them!
