I was hoping to lose 2.5kg this month. I weighed in at the start of the month at 67.5kg, so my target is 65kg. I have a packed schedule, with classes and a LOT of assignments, so if I average 20 miles a week, I'm happy.

I have another goal, which is to get back to my old habit of waking up at 6, regardless of what day of the week it is.

Joined the Fall 5% Weight Loss Challenge on 10/05/2013.

Look for something good in every situation.

MSU is the NCAA BIG 10 Champion! Go green, go white!
Now they are in the Sweet Sixteen NCAA tournament round. Spartan's take care of business, as in also winning the 2014 Rose bowl game.
(I just have to brag on my alma mater.)

Awesome goals everyone! Keep up the hard work. All of the benefits of walking are so worth it at the end of the day :D We can do it!

I have also found that if I don't put off my walk for tomorrow, I easily meet my weekly goals and can even get a few more miles.

For October:

Remove 5 pounds
Go from couch slug ... to walking 10 minutes 4-5 days a week.
Finishing the month with walking ... 20 minutes 4-5 days a week.


Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...
it's about learning how to dance in the rain.

My October goals:
Continue tracking my "other goals"
Walk at least 15 miles total per week.
Lose at least 5 lbs by the end of the month.

I wanted to have a place where we could discuss our goals for October and what we are doing to reach them. It's a great way for us all to support and encourage each other! emoticon

My October Goals:

*Finish my 30-day thruster challenge without missing a day
*Walk at least 12 miles per week
*(Keeping with the 12 theme) Lose 12 pounds by the end of October
*Stay on top of work deadlines
