6/26, CJ... haven't heard from my daughter in a few days. Last weekend she passed part of her mucus plug. She's a young lady who stays up all night into the wee hours, sleeps til noon or beyond, and naps a lot. I work 2-10:30 PM (or later) and am in central time zone, she's in Pacific. So we have trouble connecting at a mutually convenient time... plus I think she's more moody than usual?!

I have lost 22.5 pounds since October 1, 2007. I really haven't been working out that much either, though I try to get in a good long (2-3 miles) walk at least one day a week. I took December "off" but still ate pretty well and still lost a little bit. It's been slow but steady progress, and finally I need to go treat myself to some new pants. Life is good!

I am very excited that I needed to increase the weight on my dumbells! I used 12 pounds each for bicep curls and 8 for lateral and should press.

Well, Doctor finally released me to go back to my life style changes and exercise. Offered me weight loss prescription too, but I turned it down. I am going to try and take it off the way I put it on.]

My victory, not taking the easy way out and popping a pill to solve my problems instead of putting in the hard work. I know I would have used it as an excuse to not work at weightloss!!!

I have stayed on track with my calories/WW points this past week, exercised regularly, and also lost weight! My loss was 0.8 lbs, pretty good considering I had to take Prednisone (which always makes me retain water big time).

I'm with Ravyn, my victory is that I only gained 3 lbs over the holidays. I actually lost weight in the beginning of December, so I guess that kind of buffered the latter half! emoticon Anyway, I've been MIA for awhile, but I'm back on track (did my workout today) and will be checking in. It keeps me motivated knowing that others are experiencing big and small victories. I've had to re-adjust my goals, but I want to do it this year and start my maintenance goal.

My victory is that I didn't give up. I kinda stopped exercising and watching what I was putting in my mouth the past several days. I got up this morning feeling like a truck ran me over and said "I can't live like this again!" I am now back on track except for that brownie I just ate, but I really wanted it!! I have a lot of exercise to get in before the day is out, but I am not giving up!! I have also never stuck with a program this long, so it is a double victory.

I'm so proud of you - 33 pounds in 60 days. I too have been on SP for a little over 60 days. I started Oct. 1st and I agree with you. I have NEVER stayed on a diet for over, say....a day or two. This is awesome!!! I have lost 19 pounds and 16.5 inches. This is a lifestyle change and I'm seeing change happen as well.

an odd victory maybe , but to me it is significant. today marks 60 days on sparks, and this is my 200th post, so a double victory. generally when i tried to "diet" it would last a month tops, but this isnt a diet this is a lifestyle change. one, that is working wonderfully. its slow yes, but slow is good when you dont want it to reverse fast. emoticon

Weighed in last night at CURVES and much to my amazement I didn't gain over T*giving. I didn't loose either, BUT I DIDN"T GAIN!!!! Yea. So here I am sitting at the same weight now for several weeks but that's OK, I"m back on track and hope to see the scale move downward next Monday.

I weighed in yesterday and I am down 1 lb. from last week! 9 more to go and I am at my goal weight. I've increased my reps and the intensity of my workouts to help keep up the calorie burning.

Hey, just checked my BMI. It is down from 40.4 to 38.2!! That is a huge step for me. I am no longer MORBIDLY OBESE! emoticon

I just sat down today and looked through my Health journal and figured out what I lost since starting SP on Oct. 5 and a month later, Nov. 5. I lost 7.5 pounds and 6.75 inches from my core!

My victory yesterday was doing 28 minutes on the Eye Toy program and didn't have an asthma attack!! 2 weeks ago, I had one after only 10 minutes!!

My asthma has gotten a little better already. Doctor said that it might improve if I lost some weight!!

My victory is that last evening at the fitness center, I went as high an incline as the incline treadmill can go, 30 degrees, in 1:1 intervals. It kicked my butt but I did it! Gonna have buns of steel someday, LOL.

i am just so happy, had the second measurment since we started at the gym. the first being how we were when we started.
all total, in 6 weeks i have lost a combination of 13.5 inches.
i know i cant get placent, and expect it to continue, unless i continue as i have been.
blogging, and posting, reading other folks ideas have all helped me get to this point, i am certain it will take me further in the next 6 weeks!!!!

My victory is work related. I survived a 17 hr shift and only ate about 600 caloried more than I should have. I also spent 5 of those hours on my hands and knees scrubbing floors, so I burned off the extra 600 calories NO PROBLEM!! I am writing the eating off to having worked so hard. I actually burned more calories than I ate for 11/4!

I did some up and down over the last 10 days. I ate at the lower calorie range for 2 days and gained 1 pound!
It took me all week to get back to where I was and start to make progress again.

took the basic no bake cookie recipe and used reduced fat peanut butter and light margarine instead of full fat stuff.

it is:

2 c sugar
.5 c cocoa powder
1 stick of light margarine
.5 c milk use skim to make fat even less, all I had was 2%
3 tbsp reduced fat peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 c quick cook oats

Combine sugar, cocoa, margarine and milk in pan and bring to a boil. Once boiling boil for 3 more minutes!! If you don't it will be too runny.

remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.

Stir well then drop on waxed paper or greased baking sheet. Makes about 30 cookies.

For peanut butter ones, leave out cocoa and put in 1/3 c peanut butter.
