Krystal loves rubber bands and chewing on plastic things. I cannot leave a pen anywhere within her reach as she will chew on it. If I leave her hair brush out--she will chew on that, too. She already had a broken tooth when we adopted and I do not want another broken one.

We have four furry kids. Rubberbands, bread twisty ties and plastic bags ate their favorites too. Like you; we hide them and they still find a way to get to them. They love wadded up paper balls, that is orur office substitute. They love chasing them because they make more noise then toys.

Does anybody else have a cat with rubber band issues? And tape? My cat is crazy for rubber bands and tape. He will go to great lengths to get rubber bands! I hide them from him because I am afraid he will go from just playing with them to eating them. I had them in a bag on a shelf, and somehow he got the bag and when I came home from work, there were rubber bands all over the freaking computer room! He chews on tape as well. Another thing that has to be hidden and out of his reach which is considerable. I have never had a cat be so fascinated with these things.
