I'm down another 7.8 pounds as of yesterday for the week. I haven't got on the scale today yet to see if I did any damage at the birthday party I went to last night. I tried to eat pretty sensibly, even though I was hungry. I ate mostly vegetables, a turkey wrap sandwich that was lo-cal and a couple of barbeque meatballs, but I did splurge and have a piece of birthday cake. I'm sure it's all good because I had enough points on Weight Watchers' to cover it all. I love Weight Watchers' for that reason, you don't have to feel like you're cheating when you figure it into your points. Even if I gain a little bit, I'll be OK with that because it's still a big loss for the week. I'm really proud of myself for my sticking to this and making it work for me. I love it!

I was down 9.2 pounds for the week! I was over the moon with these kinds of numbers. I didn't know I had it in me to pull down those kinds of numbers. I'm actually out of the the 380's now and down to the 370's. It feels good to drop a size of clothing too.

I am down 4.2 pounds so far this week and I don't even weigh-in until tomorrow night at Weight Watchers'. I am stoked!!!!!

My weigh in for Dec 31st was 306. I lost 16 pounds in 2010. Not great but not a gain either. I am happy.

after a weeks vacation i was up .6, not good but not as bad as it could have been. leg problems prevented any exercise but back on track as of today. going to try weighing in only on the 1st day of the month, don't want to be chained to what the scale shows

down 1.2 this week, not much but it's a start back in the right direction. actually had one decent nights sleep. actually it was nearly 12 hours, my body was exhausted and after the stress of the last 3 weeks i just hit the wall and crashed. a bit better since then but still a struggle

Hey Jude, if you haven't been sleeping, that will hold you back from losing weight. And if you have continued swimming, you may have lost fat and gained muscle, which weighs more than fat!

Just slowly try to get back into concentrating on a healthy lifestyle, as you can. Don't expect too much of yourself in this trying time.

still no loss this week. since the loss of my brother, who lived with me, the food thing has gotten totally out of hand. i try to stay within my limits but sometimes i just eat what is there. i usually go either way under or way over my calorie allotment. sleep is nearly non-existant, that makes the coping even harder. i have continued to go to the pool nearly every day for at least 90 minutes. that helps a lot along with the support of my family both at home and at spark people

lost nothing this week, in fact i gaineb back 3.5 lbs i lost last week. and it wasn't from overeating or lack of exercise. my younger brother died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack, he was only 52. huge wake up call for the whole family. fortunately i had already started on the road to better health but i hope it's not too little too late. he lived with me and the loss is enormous. the stress factor alone is through the roof. i've eaten very little this week, not good. but still managed to get to the pool nearly everyday, very good.

i've been subscribed to spark people for nearly 2 months now but this is the 1st week i actually stuck with the program. when i was an active weight watcher member i always weighed in on friday morning. the difference between my weigh in last friday and this morning is an impressive 8.3 lbs. now i don't expect that every week but it is encouraging to know that if you work at it it can be done

That makes more sense... If it is from the swelling, that should go away in time. So as long as you stay on track, you are probably still losing just fine.

I have lymphedema-- I had a fall.. any trauma to the body can make me swell-- sooooooooo MY knees and legs were quite swollen-- I have been up as much as 16 pounds in a week..

I lost 2 pounds this week. 44 down, lots to go.

Hi Tracy, Have you gone back over your food tracker to see what went wrong? If everything was within ranges, check to see that the range is correct for your activity level. I would compare how many calories you took in with how many you burned off, that could be a help for the future. If you found the culprit, just note it, and make plans to eliminate that problem and you'll do great next week!

That seems like a lot to gain in such a short time! Did you weigh at the same time of the day? Are you sure the scale is accurate?

I have been the same weight since Feb 1st. 316 pounds. I have lost 7 pounds in 2010. 93 more to go to reach my goal. I WILL DO IT.
