You are so right, it is all about choices. One by one we can make the right choices. I think it is important for me to think of it as a WIP (work in progress). Just because I make a bad choice at 2, doesn't mean I need to continue to make bad choices throughout the day. I can stop at one and be proud of myself. Easy to say, hard to do, but gotta keep at it, don't we?

I know that feeling. Had a little binge last week instead of dealing with a family issue. I, too, felt uncomfortable and just downright miserable...acid reflux and all. I read somewhere that in some cultures people learn to eat only until they are 80% full. It makes perfect sense. Hard to do though.
Remember how terrible you feel right now the next time you start to get that urge to eat too much or you get the urge to eat the wrong foods. Also keep in mind that tomorrow you have the choice to make better decisions. You can choose to feel good and energized by eating the right foods and the right quantities. The payoff is HUGE!
