We are definitely in very stressful times. With the economy stumbling, retirement plans in disarray and the workplace so uncertain, were all being pushed to the edge of our comfort zones. In moments of pressure and distress, its important to focus your mind in a direction where you can make a positive difference in your life.

With that in mind, I offer you wisdom from the Serenity Prayer as guidance in your daily pursuit of betterment. The prayer has given many people comfort and helped countless others find their way out of trouble. For those of you who are struggling today, let this prayer inspire you to begin to accept the things you cannot change and motivate you to change the things you can starting today!

God grant me the serenity

To accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And the wisdom to know the difference.

Elayne from Florida in the Eastern Time Zone.

"To love means loving the unlovable. To forgive means pardoning the unpardonable. Faith means believing the unbelievable. Hope means hoping when everything seems hopeless."
— Gilbert K. Chesterton

Quote of the Day: "I pay no attention whatever to anybody's praise or blame. I simply follow my own feelings." Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791)
