Hi - I swim six out of seven days each week and my shampoo solution is to use none! I know seems strange but my hairdresser recommended using conditioner before I swim and just rinse it out afterwards, without shampooing. I use TRESsemme conditioner for dry hair (I have fine hair) so it is thick and stays compacted under my swim hat. It takes quite a rinse to clean out of my hair. I use shampoo just once a week on non-swim days. I find my hair never goes dry now and my hairdresser says he would never know I swim from the condition my hair is on.

I use all different types. Most recent types are John Freida sheer Blonde, bioINFUSION, and TRESemme. I cycle thru these three since it seems like my hair doesn't curl right if I stick to only one shampoo & conditioner.
I have two types of hair, the top layer is wavy/straight the underneath hair is curly/frizzy. Using the same hair product for a long period of time seems to coat the top hair and make it too straight.

I used to use René Furter hair and body but it was very expensive, now I use a very cheap aloe based shower gel and shampoo I found at décathlon (a sports store in France) it's really good and I also lather conditionner on my hair before I put on my swimming cap, it keeps it from smelling like chlorine
I used to use special swimmers shampoos that were very expensive. Now I am using Aveeno Shampoo and conditioner and find it leaves my "coloured"hair soft and manageable. It a little more expensive than the regular shampoos but it goes on sale from time to time. Any other suggestions?
