My goals for the month are to walk and or bike every day. I am leaving for Fl in AUg and want to be able to last all day long.
My plants are drying up since we are on water restrictions. A major water main broke and we have been on water restrictions since last Sat. At least we still don't have to boil water like we did over the weekend.

I have said for the past two months that I want to make using my stationary bike a habit before the cold weather sets in, and I cannot exercise outside. You all know what is coming next, right?
THIS month I will be doing my stationary bike daily, because it is even too warm for me to exercise outside now.
I am glad that we were able to get so much done in the yard. Now it is simply watering and minimal weeding to keep everything alive. Although, since we do not have a hose in the front, and we have to haul buckets of water around it still is some exercise.
Yep, you see that ticker down there...sad, really sad.

My goal is to get back and stay on track for weight loss. It has been a very bumpy ride all year and I am finally getting back on track to losing weight. I want to strengthen my resolve even more this month.
I started at 333 lbs. Jan. 2010.
The will to conquer is the first condition of victory.
You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage to say no to other things. The way to do this is to have a bigger 'yes' burning inside.
I must admit, I did really lousy for June. No excuses, just didn't do what I had wanted to. July is not starting well, either. My diverticulitis has flared up, meds are not working as well has they have in the past, and I'm just not myself yet. Perhaps next week will be cooler and I'll feel better.
For July I would love to ride 500 miles, but with temps hovering in the triple digits, that ain't gonna happen. So I will set a goal of strength training 4 days a week, that I can do inside.
Anyone else suffering this summer?
