Lola, our Choc. lab is massive also. She will put her head on your lap but that's as far as she'll go. That's alright with us. 100 plus lbs is a bit more than I'd like on my lap. Some day you'll know if you're ready for another.

Thanks for the input. We have 155 aces so we havethe room. I would love a fox red but it is hard enough with 3. You only have two hands and one lap. I have had all three on my lap (sortof) and that is difficult. My kids are not small. They are between 75 and 100 lbs each. Reece, my chocolate ha always been a massive dog. After she had her litter, she lost her muscular physique. Now she looks like a keg with legs she is 99 lbs now was 101 last year. Cain my Black boy is also massive. When we go for our 3 mile loop walk/run, he has an osessive habit of grabbing a piece of firewood off the porch and carry it the entire way. He will run ahead, drop it sniff, run and play with the other too. When I get about 20 yards past the wood, he sprints back to pick it up and do it all over again. He is 98 lbs at his last vet visit. Calla is my "little" Yellowin. She is all about the ball and me. She is also a Dock Dog. She weighs 85 lbs. She chunked out a tad this winter but is on her way back to her jumping weight. As i sit here, reclined on my coach with her head in my lap and see the other two sprawled out, one on the floor, the other on the other coach, i can't imagin another one. So i will wait for a bit. Thanks everyone

I would say since you have 3, having a 4th wouldn't be much different. We had 4 Cocker Spaniels at one time, but I wouldn't personally do it again. 2 is my limit! If we had alot of land it would be different.

Agreeing with Sandi and including time to work, play, and train another dog. But then your thinking about a Fox Red Lab so since I am particle to them .

I would think it would depend on how much room you have for another dog, are you thinking a puppy? Also how would another one get along with the other three? If you have the room for 4, I say go for it!!!
