Today I will cook a steak for us tonight,grill it and cook some small bakers to go with it.We share a large steak and that helps us to eat a little less.I am trying to eat less red meat but hubby loves it so much that we usually have red meat at least three or four times a week or at least he does.I try to eat sensibly with mostly vege's but that doesn't always work!I am also trying to cut back on my carbs,I love the white stuff but know it isn't good for me so am trying to go with more whole wheat products.We both do enjoy chicken and next week will cook more of that.Hubby says he will buy a turkey breast next week.We do love to eat.Lukily neither one of us has a strong sweet tooth although he likes his rum and diet coke two or three times a week.That takes care of his sweet need. Hope you all have a fun filled sunday,CLinOregon

We had some breakfast this morning and now I will think of something light or very limited for lunch.Dinner is still aways off so will think of something later.We really need to start cuttingback on our calories we both eat way to much but I do love to cook so that is a problem as I am in the kitchen off and on all day.Think I am still suffering from losing my sister to cancer three weeks ago there was no service and so I am having trouble with closure on her death.I have been taking ny frustration out on my poor husband and he is complaining and I don't blame him.I need to slow down and relax just woke up from another nap and will probably start taking depression meds this eve.Will deal with dinner later now need to go and make nice to my husband!!

have not been cooking much for supper this week. i need to decide to have no fast food week. although to be more motivated to cook it would need to be less then 95-110 degrees outside. i'll have to come up with more quick meals.

home made pizza seems to be more calories than pizza hut veggie pizza. i use fat free cheese so i will just stick with pizza hut.

also i use beans.

Bumping this back up...

Went fishing this morning. Caught some catfish ( threw back) but nothing to bring home. But it was good exercise and we got out in the fresh air.
