Wow. Just the soup and the chicken? No water? That does sound good and it's definitely easy. I may have to give it a go.

I use a lot of rubs and (home made) marinates to create variety. (Add coffee to a beef rub - surprisingly yummy!

Also, check out Meal ideas in the Ideas Forum -- it's there to give quick ideas for things that don't take a lot of cooking or even a recipe.

I recently gave up frozen dinners, so I've been really trying to nail down dinners that don't require a lot but aren't frozen (or highly processed).

Good luck!

Look in the thread "What's for dinner?" and you'll find a whole bunch of choices. Also try the thread "Fast, and very low calorie snaks/meals.... "

Good luck!

When I don't have access to a refrigerator or microwave, I usually just stick to simple stuff -- raw fruits and veggies, cubes of cheese, hard-boiled eggs, trail mix, PB sandwich... stuff like that. Depends on what you like. You could also look at getting an ice pack, which will give you a lot more options with refrigerated foods.

I am starting my Grad program tonight, which means I will be in class from 4:45-8:45. I need some ideas for healthy meals that don't need to be reheated or refrigerated and taste good. Anyone have any ideas?
