Well last night I got into the cooking mode and made some spinach Joes and fresh hot biscuits,mashed potatoes also.Very good dinner.Tonight I will use those left overs and make shepards pie for him actually it is already made and still have one left over biscuit for him,not sure what I will have, maybe a salad.Will cook a nice Easter dinner tomorrow for both of us.Well need to get dressed and get my day going,things to do,have a fun day all of you,CLin Oregon

Good Morning GLitter 60 and all others, I don't throw to well on the pottery wheel either but love to handbuild my products.Today I got a really full load of biscware from my large Duncan kiln.Good firing!!!I make a lot of jewelry also and make a lot of my own beads,they are so much fun to make but I think I enjoy the creating more than anything.Sometimes I just sit in my little studio and let my mind wander and think of new things to make.I do have a very nice wheel but haven't used it in about two years now really need to do that!! Lets see now, dinner tonight ,to early to even think about it. We are taking our very nice but older white travel van to a dealer near us and put it on the market we just don't use it anymore. Good Morning All, to early in the day to think about dinner,only about 6 in the morning!!Got my big kiln up and running so tonight or tomorrow morning should have a full load of pottery to glaze.Sure hope nothing breaks!!The firing takes about four hours and should be done by 9:15.The kiln turns itself off about that time.Know this isn't the forum to discuss pottery but the pottery site on sparkpeople is not functioning for me but I haven't checked in to that site in months,maybe it has improved!!Anyway,always looking forward to a good meal and hope tonight I feel like cooking,hubby needs a fresh dinner.Hope everyone has a fun day, CLin Oregon

Tonight we had leftover spagetti,not bad but not near as good as my freshmade sauce.I gave him a couple of biscuits and I had two slices of real garlic bread softened in the microwave.Quite good!

we will have grilled turkey burgers loaded with bell peppers,mushrooms and onions,potatoes for him and rice for me.Also made some fresh strawberry jello for dessert.May make a small salad also!!

carpal tunnel syndrome,that sounds terribly painful,hope it doesn't hurt to bad ever!! I fixed dinner for my hubby tonight and he loved it,slow cooked ribs in their natural juices no sauce! Have enough to freeze for a few more dinners..I ate a large lunch so passed on dinner also had a large breakfast,poached eggs on toast,very good.Lazy day today weather was marginal but cool sounds like the midwest and the east coast are getting an early heat wave,bummer.My sister in law lives in Western Mass.and has all her life but the weather is terrible,lots of snow,high humidity,hot in the summer so glad we live out west at least our weather here is usually quite nice.We have had a lot of rain lately and it is coming late this year,oh well,maybe I can get in some gardening soon that would be nice,have a fun eve.CLin Oregon

OK tonight we will have slow cooked short ribs that have cooked about eight to ten hours.Hubby will have his with mashed potatoes I will have either rice or pasta,should be very tasty.Last night had friends over and we ate a very tasty and tender corned beef with all the St. Patty Day trimmings.Excellent dinner,my friend brought the salad and I cooked the rest of it.Hubby and I both love meat that just falls off the bone so the short ribs should be fine.We are going out to breakfast this morning and I am hungry.The rain has finally let up and we might have a nice sunny day,maybe!!!I would love to do some gardening but will at least get to work out in my pottery studio tonight.ahhhh,life is good! even with osteo arthritis causing me a little pain.Hope everyone has a fun filled day. "Fried" Rice: 1/2 Cup Brown Rice Fresh Mushrooms Onions Peppers Garlic Red Pepper Flakes or Siracha Low Sodium Soy Sauce Tofu (Or an Egg, if you'd like) Soy Crumbles (Or lean ground beef/pork.)
I used instant rice, put half of it in a container for lunch tomorrow. Microwaved that while the "meat", tofu, veggies, and spices cooked down, put it on top, and enjoyed. So good!

Chinese grilled chicken salad from our local Applebee's. I ordered a half-salad size. I ate 1/4 at the restaurant for lunch and the other 1/4 for dinner. I had a small bowl of cereal right before bedtime.

Going to Wendys, thats where we go after our Senior club meeting . I hve a side salad ,jr bacon cheeseburger and a diet pepsi. It come out to about 400 calories, I compensate for lunch i have a yogurt lite and fit dannon.
