Prep Time 15 Minutes

Cook Time 40 Minutes

You need only four ingredients to make this easy, delicious, gluten-free and low carb bread. It rises in the oven forming a beautiful, almost normal looking bread. The good news is that it's loaded with protein and depending how you slice it usually less than 2 carbs.

Preparation Instructions

Preheat the oven 325F

Ingredients

1 cup Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
4 teaspoons Organic Baking Powder
1 cup Natural, Unsweetened Almond Butter
(I make my own, much less $)
8 whole Extra Large Organic Eggs

Mix together the whey protein and the baking powder in a small bowl.

Beat the almond butter with an electric mixer in a large bowl until creamy. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition until the batter is smooth.

Combine the whey protein mixture with the almond butter mixture and beat well until creamy.

Pour the batter into a lightly sprayed loaf pan. Bake for about 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean..

Let cool and cut into slices. Consistency is dense enough to slice thinly if you are counting the calories or carbs.

Enjoy!
