I've tried one gluten free bbq sauce as of yet and it was horrible and tasteless. Is yours any better?
I make my own bbq sauce and maybe you should look into making yours so that you can control the amount of salt and then you also know that it does not have wheat in it.
Trish - I don't have to avoid salt but I do try and not overdo. I searched spark for you and come up with a forum on recipes with s few links to sites, here it is www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageb
Hope this gets you started in the right direction.

I am trying to avoid salt because I had high blood pressure at a doctor's appt in July. Most of the things that are low in sodium have added flour...not sure why.
Does anyone else have to avoid both wheat and salt? I am also avoiding dairy and white sugar. Any good recipes would be appreciated...I am really in the mood for BBQ, but all the bottles have so much salt and wheat....
