I take it in pill form. I am allergic to wheat and dairy. I cannot eat yogurt or cheese. If I have any dairy, my head gets clogged. It is just amazing the difference in my health since going gluten free. My acupuncturist recommends eating sauerkraut all winter for the natural probiotics in it. I try to do that as much as possible.
Bleeding Roses--I did not think of Raw Kombucha -- that is a good idea. But I do not drink specialty coffee drinks :-) Unless I sprinkle a littel cinnamon on my coffee in the morning. Thanks for the reminder.
I take probiotics too...in pill form. There are a few that have no allergens if you read the labels carefully. Solgar I think is one and Mega Food, also check out Ultimate Flora (I think that is the name).
Raw Kombucha tea. It's $4 a bottle (give or take), and it's a raw liquid firmented beverage. But it has tons of probiotics in it and if you like it, give up your specialty coffee and drink it instead. I drink one a day or every other day.

Hi all, who takes probiotics? I am g-free, dairy/casein free, corn, lentil, egg free. I want to improve my intestinal health. I work in a group home and germs are every where no matter how hard we try to keep healthy there are challenges. Right now I am using So Delicious' Coconut Kefir and coconut yogurt. But would love to find a good source of probiotics or acidopohlus (spelling?) that fits my dietary avoidances. Anyone have suggestions?
