Made the most impressive and great tasting pizza crust this weekend. I found the recipe at glutenfreegoddess.blogspot.com. Any one still looking for a great pizza crust recipe should try this. crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and similar in taste to what I remember having at pizza places as thicker crust pizza. Do you know of any good GF pizza joints by Six Flags Great America? My daughters' school is taking a trip and I was curious.

If anyone is ever in the Green Bay, WI area The Bar serves GF pizza. I love dipping it in ranch dressing. YUM! They also make french fries and a few other items in a dedicated fryer. They are super helpful! Just don't order a GF pizza on game day because they have a limited menu. You can still get their buffalo wings though(minus the blue cheese dressing). YUM YUM!!

The bread mix is the one that is too sweet. The pancake mix is better(in my opinion). I love the pancake mix for carrot cake, banana and zucchini breads. Turns out perfect every time. I have substituted the pancake mix in other recipes with much success. Just made waffles the other day. Loved them!!

Pamela's recipe is okay but make sure you add some garlic powder, oregano and basil. Also I noticed it is rather sweet as the mix has sweeteners in it. I mix it with tapioca and rice flour to cut the sweetness. Tastes great for a dessert pizza though. Top it with sliced apples or pie filling. Top that with a simple struesel and amazing. Chebe makes a really good crust and it is really affordable. My daughters love it. They have multiple flavors and you can even grill it. If unavailable from your grocer you can order it from Amazon. Their cinn one is great for dessert pizza also. They are nearly all allergen free except for the one with cheese in it.

Thanks for sharing about the rustic crust. I have seen it but wasn't sure if it was worth trying and the price was a little high. Appreciate knowing not to spend the money on it. Barb

BTW - I recently tried the Rustic Crust Napoli Herb Gluten Free Pizza Crust. I was intrigued because it was just on the shelf at Safeway - not frozen. It baked okay, but it was leaden like the Ener-G bread. I did not like he herb flavoring; it seemed a little harsh or off. Handy product, but I probably will not buy it if I can get one of the frozen crusts.

Thick-crust pizza - the Whole Foods frozen ones are pretty good. They are about a half-inch thick. I usually bake them a little plain before putting any toppings on the crust.

If you are in Washington, DC we have a great place for gluten-free pizza - Ella's. It is across the street from the Portrait Gallery and the Spy Museum. Reasonable and excellent. I have been told that Pete's New Haven also has a gluten-free pizza, but I have not tried it.

I make pizza at home all the time. I have tried a number of the frozen crusts. The best I have found is Kinnikinnick. They are not always available and I often end up with the Whole Foods brand which are good. I have made the Amy's and the Ener-G, but I usually end up eating only a little of the crust as it gets too heavy.

I will have to look for the Udi's. We have only recently started getting the Udi's products here. I have gotten the bread, but haven't seen the pizza crusts.

I buy a 2-pack of Udi's frozen pizza crust at Henry's market. It's really good! We add Goat's milk feta, pizza sauce, lots of veggies including artichoke hearts and sliced green olives. It's a feast!

I got Bob Red Mill GF Pizza crust and have not tried it yet because my son keeps taking my chicken and eating it so now I got to make some more so that I can see if it tastes good. I think that my husband wants to taste if since he keeps asking me when I will be making it. So I think that tomorrow I will be make it.

I am the only one that eats GF at my house. I buy GF English muffins and make myself a small pizza with the sauce and vegetables after making their pizza. I put them all in the oven. It is an easy meal. As a matter of fact, I am making it tonight!

Guess it is a matter of personal taste. I think UNO's is way better than the Boynton unless the boynton updated it - to me it tasted like cardboard.

I tried the gluten free pizza at Uno's....pretty nasty. The best gluten free pizza in Worcester is at the Boynton and also at EVO's... I do the GF and the dairy free and it's really good.

Z Pizza in Alpharetta Georgia has gluten free pizza. Their pizza is made with all organic ingredients. You can choose regular crust, wheat or gluten free crust. I had the gluten free crust with low-fat cheese and veggies. It was great. So nice to be able to eat pizza again.
