Yes, the company is called the WOW Baking company. They make GF oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, snickerdoodles and really gingery soft ginger molasses cookies. I've ordered them through Amazon.com as well. It's through their partnership with them, and they were definitely reasonable, especially for GF. Oh, they have peanut butter as well. I forgot about them because I gave that box away due to my and my son's peanut allergies. Have fun!

The difference in price was not only in dollars, but in amount. I think there were only a couple extra slices, but I paid about $1 less, and the Udi's is 12 ounces and the Kinnikinnick was 21.
Haven't seen the By George products. Don't know if our Whole foods has them. Have you all tried the WOW cookies? Oh, my goodness! I must keep my munchies in check, as every kind is outstanding!
Happy belated birthday, Linda.

Yes - celebrated 58 yrs with a quick trip down the coast to meet grandkids - the weather was beautiful - just warm for the beach but not hot or cold and windy which it sometimes is. Saw a lot of nice views through the mountain and along the coast.

Whole foods can be more exp than other places but they have many marked options - makes it easy to find. We really only go for bread products and end up finding something new. Bread keeps in the freezer so don't go too often. If I can get it at Safeway, may be cheaper and a lot closer for us.

Linda was it your birthday the other day??

TY for sharing these products - I have never been to whole foods, but I guess it is worth the 10 mile trip just to check out what they have.

I really like the Udis products - now I'll have to start looking for the Kinnikinnick products. How is the price difference? I haven't had a chance to check out the Safeway store near us yet.

Haven't seen the Kinnikinnick English Muffins, though I really like their pizza crusts. I really like the Foods by George English Muffins, both the Plain and the Cinnamon and Currant ones. Half of a muffin is really enough to eat for breakfast. I get them at Whole Foods.

Kinnikinnick products are AWESOME :D I get them here at HyVee or the health food store.

HyVee and Fareway where I live are carrying quite a bit of gluten free products.

It is surprising how Safeway has been really reactive to having gluten free products. They even have some cookies in the bakery section (Chocolate Chewie Cookies) that are gluten free. They do not say so on the packaging and have a warning that they are manufactured in a facility that uses wheat and tree nuts. But so far I have not had a problem with them and I am very sensitive. The only problem with Safeway is that you have to do a lot of searching. They do not have their gluten free products in the health food section like other chain stores. They are mixed in with similar products, like baking goods.

Last time I visited my sister she served me some of them. She said she bought them at Safeway. But the one near me is very limited with there gluten free products. I thought they were really good.

I don't think it's only available at Vitamin Cottage. I've seen them at Whole Foods; at least the English muffins. I think the breads may be new.
Maybe if you can try it, the store where you buy GF will let you get a case. I do that and split it with one or two friends. Saves a bit.
Also, Amazon has some nice Subscribe and Save deals on GF stuff. We got the Gluten Free Pantry mixes for just over $4 each and the same for the Kinnikinnick cake mixes.

Thanks for the info but I don't think there is a Vitamin Cottage around where I live.

I was just at the Vitamin Cottage. I wanted to get their Kinnikinnick English muffins. i can get three slices from one, and like them. They had several breads, and one was a flax and sunflower GF bread by the same company. It cost $4.49 and is 21 ounces vs. the 12 in Udi's. I decided to take a chance, and I really like it! I did toast it a bit, as it was frozen, but only enough to thaw it.
Also, I've made the Gluten Free Pantry white bread mix. I used milk and whole eggs, per one of the suggestions, and it was quite good. It rose like real bread1 My friend's husband didn't believe it was GF, and I had to show him the box. It's a bit bland, but not bad, especially toasted a bit.
