The quide is just as usable by any diet that you use unless you are following a low carb diet. Then the only thing to ignore is when it warns you that you are not eating enough carbs. The nutrition guide is based on a normal balance diet. Carbs is the only thing that I usually consitantly show that I am low on because I am following a modified Low Carb diet.
Take into account an overal picture. If you are low on something one day and high the next it balances itself out.
I always seem to be at the low end of the carb but I am not worried about it because I had a diabetes test and I am in the clear. They do that because I am on steroids and that will raise your sugar level. So my body is handling not having all that grain in me. I also feel better not eating that stuff anyways.
If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit.
