The Coop Mama has to get 600 packages ordered to receive free shipping from overseas and they don't offer samples. I've never looked at Whole Foods or any other store that has specialty products. I'll probably just put in a very small order just to try them. It's only $1.25 for a package of the angel hair pasta and just slightly more for the others that we can get through the coop, so to get a variety won't break the bank; then hope she gets enough orders to send it through. If I do get them I'll be sure to post a review here! In the meantime, if anyone has input, I'd still be interested in hearing it. Thanks!
How much would you have to buy at one time? If they are so great, would they send you a sample to try? (if they are so sure that you will love them I don't think that is asking too much) I haven't heard of them before but they sound like they are worth looking into.
I have an opportunity to buy these wholesale through an online coop, but want to find out if anyone has tried them. Here are the claims from their website www.miraclenoodle.com * made of naturally water soluble fiber with no fat, sugar, or starch. * contain zero net carbohydrates and zero calories, no gluten -made of a healthy natural fiber called Glucomannan. * wheat & gluten free and kosher. * Easily absorbs the flavors of any soup, dish, or sauce. * are instant and come in a variety of styles * have shown beneficial effects backed by medical studies for Type II Diabetes, Constipation, Obesity, and Cholesterol! I checked with the coop facilitator and she said they contain less than 1 gram of sodium per package. They almost sound too good to be true, but certainly worth a try for folks like me who crave pasta! I would love to have personal experiences before I go out on a limb and order some. Thanks!
