I have never been a beer drinker but I had to try one. I tried Red bridge and was reminded when I tasted it that I do not like beer. But I think it is great that gluten free beer is becoming more available. I really think that my brother also has CD but he refuses to go on the diet because he does not want to give up his beer. I sent him the information when the Redbridge first came out but so far he likes his regular beer better.

Dragon's Gold is made by Bard's Tale Beer and if you like a dark tasting beer you will love it. I really enjoy it. I use to drink Samual Adams and this is a good replacement for that.

If you live in the Rochester area checkout Beers of the World. I've never in my life seen so much beer, and the people who work there are pretty knowledgeable. They should be able to help

New Grist makes a really nice gluten-free beer, I personally like it better than Redbridge. There is also another one (the brand escapes me) and the brew is "Dragon's Gold." Of course, cider is an alternative - not the taste of beer, but I'm finding that I like to drink it almost as well. Strongbow is my favorite, but there are new ones popping up all the time.

I don't drink beer so that is no problem for me. Can't stand the taste of it. Had one when I was 19 and didn't even finish it cause it tasted like salt to me. Hubby has been trying for years to get me to drink it but no way am I going to drink that stuff. Used to drink wine but then got headaches after just one drink so slowly stopped that. Got on some meds that I could not drink so stopped all together and don't miss it at all.

If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit.

I bought a pack of Red Bridge this weekend and it was okay, not a great beer, but it tasted like beer. I have mostly just switched to wine since I went gluten free. There are a number of other gf beers, but I haven't found a great one yet.

Well I got online. I had seen this link before. I never really researched it though. They only offer it around New York City. So I am having my husband request it of the local distributor. Hopefully we can get it up here. It sounds awesome. Keep your ears open for anything else. I am really not a liquor, or wine person.

It never occurred to me to even look for a gluten free beer until this weekend. My husband saw a gluten free beer at Whole Foods and I just read that gf beer can be made with sorghum (I read about that in the book "Gluten-Free Girl"). Let us know if you do try it!

I have tried Red Bridge, it gave me an upset stomach. I have Celiac and of course, no beer for a beer drinker stinks. I had someone tell me Yeungling is gf. They insisted, not one but two different people. I tried the golden(pale) ale and no problems. Then I started more research on it. I still haven't gotten an answer that it is gluten-free. I am very frustrated with this. I realize that I need gluten free beer, but what if it makes me sick. I am very confused by this. I want my Corona with a lime back. It is so awful. Any good suggestions for Upper(way upper-10 minutes from the border)NYS for gluten free beer?
