My San-J Tamari is not gluten free. They must have more than one version of their Tamari. I'll have to look for the gluten free!

I've never tried Bragg's Seasoning. Although I like the salty and strong flavor of Tamari I'm going to try the Bragg's. Thanks for the suggestion!

My Tamari is GF. But I prefer Bragg's All Purpose Seasoning. It's less salty and has a lighter flavour than Tamari, and tastes more like regular soy sauce - of course, I may have forgotten the flavour of "real" soy sauce by now, so you'll have to try it for yourself and see if you like it! :-)

I double checked and my San-J Tamari says gluten free on the bottle. I wonder if they changed their formula recently? Or perhaps they have regional differences? Are you sure it's not their soy sauce? Their soy sauce has wheat.

Thank you for the link. I see that it is San-J brand and has no wheat. I'll have to check my local market for it.

Most supermarkets in the UK sell "Free From" products, but I'm not sure about the USA. I found this on Google though, and hope it helps.

It looks like they sell the same name products with and without gluten/wheat. Have a look around. good luck.

Tamari is a wheat and gluten free version of soy sauce that tastes exactly the same, I buy San-J and I think it is organic as well.

I really love a big veggie stir fry for dinner but I only like it with soy sauce! Does anyone have a recipe for a good substitute or a gluten free brand?
