When you get to WF... stop at the customer service desk as they have a print out of all their GF foods in that store. Although you probably already knew that. I actually learned about the list from this team.

The GF frozen meat/chicken products were in a freezer section near the fresh meats at my store. They were not with the GF freezer breads and such.

Do you have a Trader Joe's near you? My friend just emailed me that they have a lot of GF products there. It is an hour from me, so I might have to visit. They have a list of GF products on their website, but am unsure if every store carries them.

Have a great day!!

Well, if you're going to WF, then what about looking for gf tortillas to make wraps? I know there are gf hemp ones and also more traditional gf ones, but I can't remember who makes them (Kinnikinnick?). You could smear hummus or cream cheese (or both?) and shredded carrot, thinly sliced cukes, turkey, etc. in it.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies.

Kat I will go to whole foods this weekend (it is about 45 min away). I never checked for GF corn dogs. I try to make my own but it is sooo much work.

Dotslady that web site will be my next stop.

I have tried to make lunches less boring by making a lettuce wrap (using a leaf of lettuce then placing lunch meat, cheese and mustard or something inside and roll). I like Dietz & Watson or Boar's Head deli meat as I have checked their websites and pick GF. Although I think all their meats are GF

If I could find a mayo I liked without soy, I would be tempted to make chicken salad with apples (I used to love that).

What about tacos? I love corn taco shells.

Whole Foods had gluten free mini corn dogs and chicken fingers for kids in their freezer section.

I have grown to hate lunch time. My kids are not really picky eaters but we have all grown bored with the foods we eat. Since sandwiches are not convenient and my youngest can't chew salad, what do you eat for lunch (with kids)? (Gluten-free)
