Very much so. If I am not on the ball with my diet, I will often experience an increase in other problem areas, like headaches, increased seasonal allergies and "catching colds" that don't seem to want to leave!

Oh my yes. I really never thought of it as being related to having Celiac disease but I have had what I thought was the stomach flu at least 4 times this winter. Since it keeps going around where I work I figured I just kept getting it again. You have a good question there. I am glad you brought this up.
I will keep this in mind.

you get sick easier? It seems like that last few times my daughter has become ill (w/something other than gluten reaction) it has been right after she has ingested some accidentally. So I started thinking that it would make sense that her immune system would be busy fighting off the gluten and thus she would be more susceptible to other germs. Has anyone else noticed this?
